Pros
Coretek is a very Supportive company to work for. Coretek is a very collaborative company to work for, Coretek is a very Flexible and Professional Company. Coretek is an Open Book in communications across the entire company. Collaboration is a constant at Coretek.
Cons
I don't see much for cons at Coretek. We have extremely talented people working for the Coretek and they are the main reason that Coretek is having the success that we are having in AI, Dev Ops, Security and Cloud.
Pros
Straightforward commission plan (since I’m required to put a pro).
Cons
Well, not surprised to see other poor reviews and ratings here. I’m going to go ahead and add to it. I joined CoreTek with high expectations and a large existing book of business, but the reality was one of the most painful professional experiences I’ve had. The level of micromanagement is extreme and constant. Every single day starts with leadership demanding a breakdown of what you’re going to do. Then throughout the day, you’re bombarded on Teams with “What are you doing?” messages, as if you’re under surveillance. And it doesn’t stop there; your day ends with interrogations about what you did, along with mandatory spreadsheet updates to justify your existence. It’s not just excessive; it’s suffocating. It’s nearly impossible to get meaningful work done when you’re being constantly interrupted and second-guessed. There is zero trust in employees, and the culture reflects that at every level. What made this even worse was how the company handled a medical emergency I experienced. There was no empathy, no concern for my well-being, only questions about when I would be back online and working again. That told me everything I needed to know about how this company views its people. Leadership has created a culture of pressure, control, and disregard for employees. Expectations are unrealistic, support is nonexistent, and morale is incredibly low. It’s no surprise that people aren’t succeeding here; no one is set up to. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience. I would strongly caution anyone considering joining.
