Pros

Supportive team, lots of creative freedom, and there’s real responsibility from day one. You learn so much about the different areas of tech just from working closely with the wider team and hearing from other Associates. Transferable skills are FULLY welcome & it’s a great opportunity to expand/recap on B2B, branding and content strategy. It’s a small team so your work and input actually matters and you can see how it truly makes a difference (and it’s very much appreciated!).

Cons

As most startups, it can get quite fast-paced with tight / short notice turnarounds — organisation, being adaptable & being able to handle multiple priorities is a must.

- Career opportunities with industry-leading clients - There is a great emphasis placed on fostering a positive culture and sense of community within the company - Professional and friendly environment - Regular online socials and anchor days in order to build relationships within the wider company - Senior management are very supportive and involved with the staff in a way that makes them very approachable - Access to systems where you can gain a huge amount of certifications and badges - HR systems are very user friendly - Opportunity to attend industry events such as awards evenings and balls - Accessible for people with no previous technical experience - Diversity and inclusivity very apparent across the company - Friendly and approachable pastoral leader who will always make time to address any queries, concerns, or just to have a chat - Instructors are always willing to give extra support if and when it is required - Great benefits package which is reviewed annually, with staff involvement and input regarding preferences - Pay rises over fixed terms - Opportunity to travel with clients - Buddy system in place for an added layer of support from someone in a similar role to yourself and a great way to build a connection with someone outside of your team - As it is a young company, it is always evolving, and there is oftentimes a lot of staff involvement changes made - Achievements, both professional and personal, are celebrated - Onboarding process is very smooth - Scheduled daily hour for admin responsibilities so it never has to pile up - Great work/life balance: never expected or asked to work outside of contracted hours

2 years contract with company is quite a long time to be a contractor with the client
