Pros
The company is profitable! Does that matter to employees they routinely compensate below market value? A heavy turn-over provides new roles for one to obtain and put on one's resume so that they can exit? I can easily think of 13 employees in the last ~14 months (not counting production, CEO, & COO) that have left. There are 33 employees on Linkedin ATM.
Cons
Recommend to a friend? Not a chance! The culture that was valued is gone. I do not miss the below-market compensation or work-load. The CEO has a single agenda, profitability at all costs so that he can return to Europe a hero with an international position on his resume. If all the good people leave, what does he care, it won't impact him when he is gone? That is an opportunity to hire someone cheaper! If it does not appear in a spreadsheet, then he does not care. The CEO does not trust anyone that he did not install.
