None really, flexible remote policy is great, CEO is great

Benefits are top notch, and co-workers are terrific. Hiring is selective to ensure that only highly capable, well-matched people are employed and retained. Executives are visible and approachable. The administration truly cares about its employees’ well-being and understanding of major life & family issues. In general, people are friendly and sociable, though it’s not a big “happy hour after work” crowd.

Being in the fintech space, security in engineering is essential, and decisions must be made with this in mind. If you come from a company where engineering decisions and releases are more fast and lose , you may be surprised at the effects of security requirements. In a small company such as Convoke, expect to stand out, whether for good or ill. Hopefully for good. We have grown very quickly in the last couple years, and expanded to remote employees, so despite the small company it is hard to really know everyone.
