Pros

Strong Technical Exposure: Opportunity to work with a wide range of enterprise-level technologies (Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, AWS/Azure) and cutting-edge AI-powered security solutions. Talented Peer Group: You are surrounded by very "smart and good people" who are highly skilled in engineering and architecture. Remote Flexibility: C1 has a long history of supporting remote work, which is great for work-life "fit." Professional Development: The company is often rated highly for its training resources and certifications, helping you stay relevant in the fast-moving IT sector.

Cons

Acquisition Growing Pains: With numerous acquisitions over the years, internal systems can sometimes feel fragmented or "chaotic," making simple processes more difficult than they need to be. High Workload/Burnout: As with many MSPs, the "always-on" nature of client support can lead to heavy workloads and high-pressure environments. Communication Gaps: Corporate-level initiatives don't always trickle down effectively to the local or departmental level, leading to a "disconnect" between executive strategy and daily operations. Compensation Lag: Some employees feel that total compensation (pay and benefits) hasn't kept pace with the rising cost of living or the intensity of the roles. Constant layoffs and re-structuring Never has been the same since chapter 11

Pros

A lot of genuinely hardworking people who keep things going despite constant change and obstacles Remote and hybrid flexibility is a real positive, especially compared to companies pushing full return to office Benefits are solid, but there is definitely room to improve

Cons

Problems get patched instead of fixed. The same issues show up over and over across processes, systems (CRM and ERP), and roles because root causes are ignored Sales has too much control over how things operate. Strong, scalable solutions get blocked if they do not align with how sales wants to structure a deal even when it is not in the company’s best interest. This a a sign of a desperate Sales team. There is an overemphasis on closing deals at any cost, without enough accountability for the full revenue lifecycle. Revenue quality matters, not just getting something in the door Leadership concerns are not new, are constantly talked about on Glassdoor and internally and they are ignored. There is a real need for stronger accountability, clearer direction, and leaders who are willing to make tough decisions. The tough decisions include looking closely at members of C-Suite and their failed impact.
