Pros
There are smart people here. But they're too smart. If you like long hours for no reason this is your place.
Cons
Project Management style is extremely chaotic. PMs are rude and disrespectful to everyone. Project team some how believes phone calls and e mails after 7pm on Sundays too are useful when majority of construction ends at 4pm
Found it very hard to develop working relationships with Architects, MEPs, GCs etc because of the reputation set prior to my start. Projects end up being a disaster as a result as most consultants are unresponsive.
Turn over is extremely high. Company pays for nothing, even if you're a field PM, no cel phone. They do pay for healthcare as it's based in Hawaii which is useless if you're in the mainland US. Own HR person doesn't use the free healthcare because it's so bad. Company does not have project management software, though ask about it in the interview?
Overall, don't take a job here unless you're desperate. Very money hungry upper management.
