Pros

Remote work and they do provide paid training and brand new equipment.

Cons

This company is not the best in class for sure. I worked as inbound customer service support. Although I worked remotely it was quite stressful. They changed my schedule 6 times from July to Feb. They have unrealistic metrics to achieve and will terminate you when those metrics are not met. They will also randomly and automatically assign you to be off for hours at a time when they do not pay you. It is automatic unpaid time off. The holidays we got off were Christmas day, Thanksgiving Day, and Easter. We got paid for other official holidays, but we did not get those days off and you had to work the day before the holiday and the day after the holiday in order to get paid for the holiday. The supervisor continually monitors your calls and gives you the same pat answers for how to best handle calls, sometimes it applies, sometimes it does not. They will make it very difficult to refer customers asking to speak with a senior supervisor, if you transfer without permission from a manager, you are automatically terminated. Even when permission is granted to transfer the customer to a senior supervisor, sometimes the senior supervisor still will not speak with the customer. There are so many things that hinder the customer service representatives that honestly, I would not recommend this company to anyone I know unless they were really desperate and understood what they were getting themselves into so as not to damage my relationship with them.

Pros

Paid on time, provided equipment, decent benefits from day one, nice co-workers

Cons

Sweatshop mentality of the supervisors, threats of demotion/termination for medical leave, random layoffs when calls didn't justify hours, with those same hours shifted to supervisors to keep them active. Unable to print paystubs, had to request everything through a supervisor, and provide copious amounts of private information to have the request honored. Corrosive environment - I left as soon as I got another offer, gave 24 hours notice (and I've never, ever done that before). Unless you're on the verge of homelessness or starvation, avoid at all costs.
