Pros
- Quality of hires has gotten better and better every year. Really impressed by the intelligence and commitment of my colleagues. - Leadership legitimately cares about employees. They welcome feedback. They promote work-life balance. They celebrate your personal and professional growth. - When adversity strikes, people step up and ask how they can help. This is true for the business, for charitable causes, or for personal issues. Simply put, most people are kind and thoughtful and want to know how they can help their company, their colleagues, and their customers.
Cons
- You might find better pay elsewhere, depending on your role. (Though is is somewhat balanced by benefits) - As in most places I've worked, it's an extroverted, "sell yourself" culture. Introverts here have to play that game. (The People team has made strides in this area, however) - As with many start-ups, process is often seen as a hindrance.
