Pros

I like the group I was in and the two main managers I worked directly for were great competence and supported our team very well, I also loved and respected all the peers I worked with in our infra team

Cons

never makes progress on anything "planned' for future direction... has to continually lay off people to balance and control expenses. I was luck in that I was there 7+ years as the sole person who created from scratch and ran the entire storage enviro for the most proffitable group in the company - but the engineering part of that app team is now lost totally so I was finally laid off.
