Pros
Compiere is a leader in Open Source ERP. I was impressed by the technology and its innovative platform. I thought the technical team was outstanding and lead by a very savvy CTO. Overall, I enjoyed working with the senior management team including the CEO.
Cons
Compiere was constrained by budget and cutbacks due to the economic downturn. It was unable to invest in certain markets due to the lack of both budget and human resources. By investing in new areas, they may have been able to secure additional funding which would allowed them to increase its marketing, its customer base, and market presence in the U.S.
