Pros
It's a very independent work environment. Great for self-starters. Experienced senior analysts are willing to help review work or provide insights if a project gets too tricky. VP-level executives are friendly, accessible, experienced and go out of their way to compliment good work. You get the opportunity to work directly with a lot of high profile clients which is great experience, especially if you are just starting out in your career. Analysts are always learning. Our client roster is constantly growing and we continue to expand into new industries each quarter. There is a good variety of work, from full-blown analytical reports to fulfilling simple client retrievals. Benefits are great, they are flexible about telecommuting which is amazing! :-D
Cons
There's a heavy and complex workload which can be stressful at times. The amount of clients, reports, and deliverables is constantly growing and expectations are high. It can be a struggle to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality. Executives and clients will critique your work so you need to be good at accepting and implementing criticism.
