Pros

Pay is great and one of the highest in the area.

Cons

For a company that appears to be mental health forward, they do not care about their own employees’ mental health, especially those working in Crisis & Emergency Services. We are constantly and i mean CONSTANTLY filling in and being the bridge for things that are not crises. Not only that, but Crisis workers work ALL holidays & even though you get paid an extra 8 hours for holidays, if you want to take a holiday off, you still are required to use PTO, meaning that you will have 48 hours for that week, which makes ZERO sense. Additionally, we are forced to work overtime at least 1-2 times a week but probably more, and those extra hours of forced OT? Well you don’t accur PTO for those, only the first 40. You want us to work holidays? Cool, nothing different from the next place but requiring us to use PTO to hit OT on a holiday is insane. Not only that though, we don’t even get mental health days, even though we talk about suicide and other extremely triggering topics everyday… I know BANK TELLERS that get mental health days. I think the practices within these specific departments are extremely predatory and they count on the fact that you probably won’t speak up for yourself. I am reaching burnout very fast and I haven’t been in this position that long.

Pros

Only positive is the individuals working face to face with clients daily. Caring and supportive.

Cons

Leadership does not listen to the concerns of staff. Raise a concern and then become the target. Very understaffed in all departments on the behavioral health side. Staff work in fear.
