Pros
You earn vacation time, as you work it accumulates.
Cons
Horrible management. Many are young girls with no experience, they just worked in field accounting and didn’t quit like most associates do. This job is a revolving door. You are expected to train restaurant locations on computer software that you have no access to or experience using. The managers at the restaurant locations are allowed to call and scream and curse at you and you are expected to take it gracefully and without comment. You are also reviewed on a survey in your signature email. If someone doesn’t like you they can leave you a bad review. It can be anyone who has your email address. If you have even the slightest negative remark it is held against you and you don’t receive a raise at your review. The workload is manageable if you work about 65 hours a week depending on the close date. The work is not distributed evenly. They will also ask you to cover other employees restaurant units along with your own. Again, this double work is held against you if you get behind. If you see the President of this company in the hallway or the elevator and say good morning to him he will ignore you completely, even if you are the only two people in the elevator. I have never experienced such a toxic work environment . The anxiety and stress among the other employees is very high. There is a reason this job always has openings. Lastly, if you decide this job is not for you don’t think about going back to your recruiter, they don’t work for you, they work for Compass. Due to their contract with Compass they are not allowed to refer you to other jobs. The recruiter also gets a very large bonus if you stay so many months.
