Pros
Years ago I would have said this was the best job I've ever had. I loved the day to day work, my Manager, and my Associate Manager and was proud to work for Commvault. The culture was very laid back with little to no micro-management and rewarded hard work and dedication.
Cons
Over time the company seemed to care less and less about its US employees and is focusing on hiring overseas and pivoting away from US employees. We eventually stopped receiving yearly stock rewards for top performers and even our overtime opportunities were taken away and sent overseas. After laying off half of the company without regard to performance metrics of those being laid off, its obvious they only care about profit margins rather than customer and employee satisfaction. The company is pivoting to reliance on poorly trained AI chatbots instead of real human beings which will only deteriorate the customer-base through poor service. They promise career progression but I spent 6.5 years in the same Tier1 position while being told I was close to becoming a Tier2 for several years. The company is very Sales driven and it seems the Support Team (the ones who actually KEEP the Clients) gets no recognition by the executives, while at the same time Sales gets bonuses thrown at them like confetti.
