Pros
Business office has went from 6 hospitals to over 40 in three years. This rapid growth has resulted in a dynamic (versus static) environment. Positive aspect is this provides advancement opportunities in newer departments. ( Coordinator to Supervisor in one year) You can make a difference. I believe in our mission, part of which is providing healthcare in less populated areas. Your talents will be utilized and new ones developed. Benefits / Flex Scheduling/Experience
Cons
Policies and procedures are developed/ revised frequently. It can be challenging to adapt to the constant changes and latest "highest priority" as backlog of work load drives priority. Must be vigilant in establishing boundaries, expectations and rules as staff struggle with adhering to basic rules expected in a professional environment (time, attendance, policies, production, etc.). Company Facing Challenges of Hard Economic Times. While title is a Supervisor, it is comparable to a Manager level in my opinion (20 staff, Facility Meeting Prep, Analysis of Data, HR, etc)
