Pros
Depending on the department the people can be very fun to work with. Plenty of opportunity to move about within the company/departments to expand your skills.
Cons
If you start at a low salary it is hard to get paid what you are worth as all in-house promotions can only be 10% max every 6-12 months with no guarantee of the max.
