Pros

Working at CAMS as an Assistant Community Manager has been a positive experience overall. One of the biggest benefits is the flexibility, which has been extremely helpful in balancing work and personal responsibilities. The role itself is fairly easy to learn, and while there is a learning curve in the beginning, the on-the-job training helps you get up to speed within a few weeks. Once you find your rhythm, the day to day responsibilities become manageable, and you gain confidence quickly. There are also opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the role over time.

Cons

Like many roles, the first few weeks can feel overwhelming and a bit unstructured, especially when you are still learning systems and processes. At times, communication or guidance can be limited, which may leave you feeling unsure until you fully get your footing. The workload can vary depending on the communities you manage, which can feel inconsistent.
