Pros

Great benefits, Great work atmosphere, lots of opportunities to grow and learn, there's never a boring day. Time off is managed very generously by the employers. Overall the biggest reason the company has soared to the level of success it has, other than their immense talent, is simple: they're a family, they work hard for each other, go to bat for each other, and believe in the big picture of their company. No one sacrifices more than the owners, and they lead by incredible example. I left the company to pursue a slightly different career path in a higher level position that was offered to me when there wasn't a similar opening within what comma had available at the time, and I have found myself able to contribute great things to my current company, no doubt, as a direct result of the person i learned to be at comma. The owner took me aside one day and gave me a piece of advice that has branded itself in my mind and driven me ever since, "Whatever it is you end up doing, don't let yourself be outworked by anyone."

Cons

Just because you love someone, does not mean you have to like them. Comma is a family, and like any family, there are no secrets, there can be infighting, there can be cliques and grudges, a false sense of favoritism. but none of that is a current theme at the company, just possible from time to time. everyone cares about each other so much there that any sort of fighting or gossip that occurs in any job, can really be taken to heart there. so thats not really a con, but if you're someone who buys into drama, you would feel it and not belong at this company, because theyre not going to stand for it. and you'll quickly find yourself on the 'outside' with them. so I guess that's kind of a pro/con.

Pros

Was given an office and new equipment to get accustomed to. Friendly and laid back environment. The office manager would bring his dog in on a regular basis.

Cons

There was no pay for the work done as an intern. Lack of pay birthed a lack of motivation to take the job seriously especially living in the Valley with the office being in Santa Monica.
