Pros

• Exposure to traditional print industry operations • Salary credited on time

Cons

My experience at Comart Lithographers was extremely disappointing and stressful. The organization suffers from deep-rooted cultural and ethical issues, particularly at the middle-management level, which directly affect employee morale and trust. There is a serious lack of transparency and accountability in operations. Financial processes, including digital transactions, are poorly monitored, and internal controls appear weak. Standard procedures are often bypassed, and job documentation is inconsistent, creating an environment where misuse of authority can easily go unchecked. Feedback shared with senior leadership about employees is frequently inaccurate or biased. This results in unfair evaluations, favoritism, and misplaced blame, damaging careers and creating a culture of fear rather than performance. Professional competence among certain managers is questionable. Many rely on position rather than capability, offering big promises with little or no execution. Operational inefficiencies are common, and responsibility is often shifted downward instead of being owned. A particularly disturbing aspect of the workplace is the highly unprofessional environment involving gender dynamics. Instead of maintaining a respectful and professional atmosphere, there is noticeable inappropriate interest by some male employees toward female colleagues. This behavior goes unchecked and detracts from professionalism, making the workplace uncomfortable and unsafe for many. Focus on work and merit often takes a backseat to personal agendas. Additionally, company time and resources are sometimes used for non-official or personal work, including after office hours, without proper approvals or job tracking. This reflects weak governance and a complete disregard for ethical workplace standards. Overall, this is a toxic workplace marked by favoritism, poor leadership, lack of ethics, and minimal respect for employees.
