Pros

ComPsych has offered me a place for professional growth and development over the course of many years, and in turn I've seen the business grow and develop in a positive direction. Even though the trend for other businesses has been a full return to onsite work, ComPsych has maintained work from home/remote work flexibility and generally encourages a healthy work/life balance. I've had great experiences with my colleagues and Management. This isn't a hyper competitive, "dog eat dog" environment. Customers create pressure, but the corporate culture I've experienced fosters collaboration and stresses the importance of working together toward a shared goal.

Cons

ComPsych has historically lacked clarity of vision and identity, but that is beginning to change with the new CEO. ComPsych's pay tends to skew lower, particularly for internal hires/promotions, and for me the trade off has been the great remote work flexibility and culture of promoting a strong work/life balance. In my experience, Management isn't always clear around setting expectations for customer engagement or communicating a broader vision for success; I think this is more due to personalities and perhaps some differences in style/approach than anything truly "wrong" or intended in bad faith.

Pros

Very stable employer with many opportunities for learning and growth. Ability to work fully-remote and employer provides the necessary technology for you. Full benefits and perks provided at service anniversaries.

Cons

Like most employer now PTO is limited to start, but is more generous later.

Pros

I have spent many years in many different organizations. I can honestly say that I feel more at home at Compsych than anywhere else in my career. The work brings me into contact with peers who are extremely helpful and kind. Upper levels of management are approachable and interested in suggestions and the success of the employees. I am very happy to be spending my years before retirement in such an environment.

Cons

Contact with the public, of course, has drawbacks. There can be people who are very, very difficult to deal with. I am trying to learn how to let it go and move on.
