Pros

Best-in-class services; competitive salary; great location at NBC Tower in downtown

Cons

Although the company offers altruistic services that really do seem to be best-in-class, the CEO/owner of this company seems to think talent is disposable and "easily replaceable"--a term that immediately clued me in to his attitude about his business. Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to meet with the CEO/owner before accepting my job. Mistake--horrible mistake. Our values are not in alignment, which was my fault for not ensuring a good fit with his vision of the company before accepting the offer. The next tier of senior management are very dedicated to their team members and the growth of the company. The senior management does their best to support their staff, working with very lean teams. Another unfortunate aspect of this: team members do not feel compelled to over deliver and soon lose their deep passion and high expectations for the services they are promoting.

Pros

Very stable employer with many opportunities for learning and growth. Ability to work fully-remote and employer provides the necessary technology for you. Full benefits and perks provided at service anniversaries.

Cons

Like most employer now PTO is limited to start, but is more generous later.

Pros

I have spent many years in many different organizations. I can honestly say that I feel more at home at Compsych than anywhere else in my career. The work brings me into contact with peers who are extremely helpful and kind. Upper levels of management are approachable and interested in suggestions and the success of the employees. I am very happy to be spending my years before retirement in such an environment.

Cons

Contact with the public, of course, has drawbacks. There can be people who are very, very difficult to deal with. I am trying to learn how to let it go and move on.
