      Pros

      ComAV has the most diverse population of aircraft. This is a great place to learn different aircraft. Most of the employees are willing to learn all they can about AvionicV s.

      Cons

      ComAV is on the low end of pay and treats there people like they shoud be greatful they are even paid. The middle management does not know how most of the fields ie Mechanical, Avionics, and Sheet metal. yet are promoted and in charge of section they know nothing about.

      Pros

      Not many. A starting point for mechanics but no emphasis on A&P’s with no incentive.

      Cons

      CEO (not Craig Garrick) lacks vision. As a former CFO, focus is on making money without any contribution on how to make money. Frankly, this organization should not be in the heavy maintenance business. Cooking the manhour figures has not only been acknowledged, but not corrected. I’m happy to have moved on and suspect it won’t be long before the private equity Central Valley Fund pulls the plug on Comav.
