Pros
Eclectic clientele, diverse staff, good benefits (medical/dental insurance and 401k), generous discount after 2 years of employment, variety of product.
Cons
High turnover, little to no training, lack of support and recognition of talent and/or hard work, unsafe working environments, little value for loyal employees, minimal room for growth, lax management. There are huge pay discrepancies between genders and new/long-term employees, for instance, new male hires can often be hired up to several dollars more than females who have worked 10+ years and it is not uncommon to find sales staff making equal to more than supervisors. Management will attempt to groom new employees with bonuses and movie tickets with no benefits in the long run. Raises must be requested. Upper management really has little interest in general operations necessary to maintain a well functioning work environment, despite what they promote. Questionable ethics and double standards company wide.
