Pros

Great people, management has done the job you are doing so they "get it" national presense with great resources for you to useto help your clients.must be self motivated and directed. Recover fast from set backs and move on with new plan. Lots of variety. Rewarding to help people through a potentially stressful time and get them where they want to be!

Cons

Commission is a tough life, in real estate 30% of income needs to go to taxes. You can never count on income from a sale until it closes. Many things could derail the sale, that are out of you and your clients control- job loss, divorce, huge repairs needed to foundation or plumbing or something you won't know up front etc... Plan on working nights and weekends. You can't expect buyers and sellers to take time off work for contracts, they need that time to move. You will be guiding them through a stressful time, always answer their call/text, give bad news fast. Don't take it personally when they lash out in stress or frustration.

Pros

Recognition due to the name

Cons

Although we are independent contractors, the broker continues to micromanage and it’s unbelievable how much money they take from our commissions.

Pros

I loved working with the agents. It was a good way to get into marketing especially if you have real estate experience.

Cons

There is no upwards mobility. This company invests heavily into diversity and if you are not part of a certain demographic, you will not get promoted. There were also frequent layoffs while I was there.
