Pros

Total flexibility and trust is shared between the employees. It is refreshing to see that the "Manager" figure is taken out of equation, everyone has a voice and a role in the company. Every employee also is a value to a company not a number on the payroll. 30 days of holidays does a sweet job as well. It is great to know that you have 6 weeks of holiday a year. Your battery can be recharge regularly. And needless to say that the working environment is powered by committed and enthusiastic people with a great sense of humor. Your day is never the same, but always filled with laughter or at least smiles The bonusly system that is practiced here is based on the individual recognition and rewards. That means that every employee has a right to reward anyone they like with the money provided by the company (the allowance given each month to each employee to give away)

Cons

This is a changing environment and sometime the adapting phase is very short, you just need to jump right in.

Pros

Cognizant can be a great place to work at. You have to be self-motivated and driven. You won't often be given a script on how to do your job well. But if you are willing to search for new opportunities, you will find success.

Cons

Just like many other tech companies, layoffs are happening all the time. This often brings many projects to a complete halt. Management never communicates when someone is laid off. And when they are laid off, they often never back fill positions, leaving existing team members working the equivalent of three jobs at once. Most teams there are skeleton crews, ensuring that they cannot reach their full potential.
