Pros

Consultants, Sr. Consultants, and Data team are very nice and helpful.

Cons

Before accepting the job, I was told repeatedly there was strong work-life balance. I ended up walking into a small company of employees stretched very thin. Of all the eDiscovery positions I've had, this had the worst work-life balance, which is saying a lot for eDiscovery. Like many other eDiscovery positions, many client requests come in late afternoon and especially late Friday. The difference here is that the company is so small that these requests are handled by a few people who have to do everything. Eventually, I stopped scheduling plans on Friday nights. Tasks and responsibilities often extend late into the night and sometimes the weekend (without warning or plan for coverage). There are almost no boundaries between employees and clients. As other reviewers mentioned, office politics are real. Some people are treated differently than others.

Pros

Tight knit, supportive coworkers who are problem solvers, focused on results. Ability to self-educate and flexibility with respect to PTO and personal time. Great parental leave and 401k match benefits. Bonus structure is competitive and transparent. Very competent support team with excellent response time.

Cons

Unclear path for advancement. Would love to see leadership decisions demystified for the support team. Give current employees the opportunity to advance to leadership roles and prove themselves via measurable, meaningful goals. Remaining right-sized for workload is challenging and has lead to stress.

Pros

I've really enjoyed working with the various teams. We are lucky to have really good people who manage clients and projects as well as the technology group who knows their stuff.

Cons

Sometimes the work gets intense with tight deadlines but that just seems like it comes with this line of work.
