-the other baristas and AMs are generally really great people and working with them was always a pleasure - free drinks
Cons
- Jean, the owner, is arrogant, rude, and deeply unpleasant. she never bothered to learn the names of any workers, ask them how they were doing, or express gratitude at their hard work without which this establishment would simply not exist. she would “tell” us to make coffee for her rather than asking politely and using “please” and “thank you”. - understaffing is an issue. when someone would call out sick, other baristas would be expected to pick up the slack and work 10-12 hrs. reducing store hours in such circumstances was never an option, nor did any member of upper management ever step up to help on the floor when it was needed. this speaks volumes to their character and their priorities. - pay is not enough, even with tips
