Transformation agenda at the top to help modernize the company, although not translated to the mass. Family like and friendly atmosphere, due to the fact people have known each other for long (very low job rotation and high average seniority).
Cons
Local leadership entranched in old style practices. Low engagement in teams, due to poor quality of leadership and no career nor talent management. Lack of consistency between messages at the top and practices locally, inexistant Corporate culture, systems and processes makes every country a different reality, left to the local management (good or bad). Little openess to change from management, and no counterpowers (finance and HR are still considered admin functions). Group acting as a bureaucratic control point.
