Pros

This company is great. They don't do any door to door business to business cold calling or ANYTHING like that. The compensation is broken down to the decimal point in both the second and third round interview, as well as the orientation. The owner of the company spends half her doing the exact same thing as the people she hires for entry level, so it's not like it's some ridiculous scam. This is not a position for someone looking to work a 9/5 making minimum wage for minimum effort. This is not a commissioned position, as implied by some of the previous reviews, made by people who were never even employed by the company. Everyone who works for this company has heart and passion, they do their best all day everyday. Walking into work every morning is an inspiration. I have never been around a group of more talented, motivated and passionate people as I have been working for Cobalt.

Cons

It's really quite annoying to sometimes have to interact with negative people who can't see past their own egos. It takes a lot of commitment. There are definitely some aspects that aren't so glamorous, long hours, early mornings, but nothing beats the feeling of waking up in the morning, throwing on a nice blazer and a pair of heels (sorry guys) and being around people who always want more.

Pros

I never expected to find a job with as great of a company culture as Cobalt provides. Our office is filled with the most motivated and positive people I have ever met. I aspire to get better each day because of the success I have seen come from this office. Because our office is small, we are able to get to know each other's goals quickly and help one another achieve them. I can't wait to see how the last few months of the year go for us, as well as the future as a whole of Cobalt Executives.

Cons

The playlist in the office needs to be mixed up soon.

Pros

Positive environment with a strong emphasis on leadership and growth. There are some cool, smart people that work here.

Cons

Your job is to randomly approach people in Sam's Club and attempt to sell them whatever product you've been assigned that week. You must be comfortable standing and walking around on concrete floors while talking to strangers all day. Pay is straight commission with a guaranteed minimum of minimum wage. You will be lucky to net the $900 biweekly paycheck they insist is on the low-end of "average" for the company. When you do not make enough money to pay your bills despite putting in 10+ hours of work each day, they will insist you did something wrong. The hours are long. You will rarely, if ever, have a weekend off. There are no benefits and no paid time off of any kind (including sick days). Even when you have a "day off" you will still be expected to come into the office if there is a meeting. The entire point of working here is to eventually get promoted to executive management. You will be told this is possible within 6-12 months. However, the company has been around for 18 months and no one has ever been promoted. Not to say it necessarily isn't possible... it just hasn't happened.
