Great work but little room for growth - Academy Programme Fellow Clingendael Employee Review

Nice colleagues, high level of expertise and generally pretty good benefits for employees. Flexible working environment, no micromanagement.

A lot of bureacracy behind decision making processes. Also, at times an old fashioned approach on things from the higher management. Sometimes lacking efficiency with basic operational things. Could be more forward looking with processes and services provided. Better training opportunities would be needed.

If you can prove your worth, you can go far at Clingendael, both in terms of publications, but also in terms of responsibility, learning outcomes and in particular; networking.

The compensation package is standard dutch, e.g. not impressive and by no means enough to survive on.
