Pros

Despite a frustrating work environment, this job provided me with the experience needed to further my career at a company that values my skillset and talents. Bonding with team members who are in the same boat as you are.

Cons

EXTREMELY overworked and SEVERELY underpaid. We were all salaried employees so that the ability to make overtime was stripped from us. Employees are expected to be "always-on", even if that means working on one of the FEW vacation and sick days that you get or late at night. Unhealthy work + home life balances are encouraged so that you look like you are going "above and beyond" for a company and for clients who do not appreciate you. Expecting a raise? You might get a gift card. Expecting a bonus? Also a gift card. Also, you have mediocre benefits and no access to a 401K. The company is run by individuals who do not realize that every single one of their employees are stressed out, overworked, and feel incredibly under-appreciated. Even if you come into the company with experience, expect for your pay to be under industry average so that the company can invest in everything else except for you. You'll hear promises about a promotion, raise, or bonus, but they will fall short of their promises every time. During the pandemic, all employees received substantial paycuts, yet no adjustments to hours were made and we were informed that thousands were spent to invest in their "portal" that doesn't even function properly for the team to do their jobs efficiently. You'll also have to supply your own computer to do work for THEIR company and receive no phone reimbursement even though a huge portion of your job depends on it. The best way to describe this workplace is unprofessional and toxic. The teams are run by inexperienced leaders, to no fault of their own. They are not given the tools needed from upper-level management to succeed, then they are publically ridiculed and bullied on a daily basis, all of which is witnessed by the team members. Expect to be cursed at on the regular, hearing things directed to you from the CEO such as "are you THAT *blank*stupid?" and be intimidated into being silent about your opinions. Think that this review is the first time the company is experiencing this feedback? Not a chance. There have been plenty of meetings where issues and concerns have been escalated, all of which to no avail, and absolutely no changes are made. Instead, things like "you can just leave if you are that unhappy" are told to you. They say that their "people" are their greatest asset, but do not treat their valuable employees as such. If you are someone who values your mental health, enjoys having a life outside of the workplace, and want to feel like the job that you are doing is appreciated by your employer, then this company is not for you. Life after this company is a breath of fresh air. It's a shame that the company does not value the TREMENDOUS amount of feedback that they receive to make even the slightest of changes to save their incredible, hardworking, and intelligent employees from leaving. Chances are Click Here will say that this review is a scam or fake. Survey says that that is a lie. There will probably be a meeting held to discuss how vile, incorrect, and immature this review is. They will probably have a passive-aggressive response to this review, but if I can help even ONE person be spared from having a poor experience at this company then it was worth it.

Pros

Click Here Digital is quite literally a 1 of 1 kind of career experience for South Louisiana. As competitive as marketing jobs are, being able to experience both a start up atmosphere to eventually an industry leader in fast paced verticals like automotive, legal, and medical marketing is something that I thought would be non-existent in Baton Rouge. Career growth is available in every corner of the company and management is very high touch and supportive. The culture is the crown jewel. Click Here is one of the longest standing digital-first marketing firms in the country and the culture is seeded by our CEO and fostered by basically everyone. That’s usually a buzzword or a ploy from my other experiences but here, it’s tangible. I’ve made some of the most incredible friends and colleagues I could ever ask for and have had more opportunity researching the things I love than I thought I’d find at a campus in Baton Rouge. Wouldn’t trade my experience with this company for anything in the world.

Cons

Not a con in my mind but something to keep in mind - automotive is fast-paced, forever-changing and adapting, and can be unpredictable. If you don’t enjoy pivoting or learning and desire more cookie cutter agency work, this might not be the place for you.
