Pros

Stoke was nicer than I thought.

Cons

- Despite having my work showcased as the gold standard across my team, I would regularly have threats of firing. This went on for several months, which I suspect was purely to keep my salary low as I was never fired. - There is a very tight knit circle within management and if you're not in it you'll have a much more challenging time. - They say mental health is supported here, but when mental health is brought up it was actively used against myself and others, leading to a very toxic environment. - Myself and many others left Click due to lack of support within our roles and lack of salary / growth. It's every person for themself with no upwards movement. - A lot of top quality staff left around the end of my time here, with many not getting replaced leading to unsustainable workloads - so expect to work late into the evenings. - Overall, this was a very demoralising environment to work in that felt like every person for themself. For the salary I was getting, I wish I'd left sooner.

Pros

- It was a nice environment to work in, and many of the staff got along well at the start of my job with them back in 2017, however, this has gotten worse as time went on and as the company got bigger, losing its values of a good work environment.

Cons

- Had to fight for salary increases/progression despite doing well for the business and getting revenue into the business. I had no annual appraisals while working here. - The area where the office is located is very rough and a bit disgusting. - There's a bit of an inner circle within the company, and it is not fair to the wider people within the business. - They unfairly got rid of good people within the business once they got the most out of them, and then switched the format of how the team ran, with poor recruiting in the management positions within the teams. - Feel like the managers have got a real power trip within that place, and they need to improve on that. Need to motivate and empower staff, not demoralise and micro-manage. My manager at the time was great, however, they were replaced by someone who was nowhere near as knowledgeable and never took on any feedback. - Feel like some of the positions were given off how close you were with SLT.

Pros

When I manage to leave that will be a pro

Cons

Managers micro manage people within a millimetre of their life. Stress and mental health issues are prevalent and recently two well liked staff were pushed out very quickly after experiencing bullying behaviour from Management and experiencing panic attacks. Both of these staff members were extremely young and vulnerable one in particular was an apprentice who I had to comfort as she was physically shaking. We recently had a mental health presentation from a man with a tin of beans which quite literally speaks volumes of how staff members are valued we are all tins of beans that need to shut up in a tin 😀
