Cons
Overall cons have to do with poor management which can vary in each department. Each department is their own entity, and management runs it how they want. Cons and ratings are based on the aforementioned: - Departments are not cohesive - Guidelines in employee handbook, but everything is management discretion---can circumvent all rules - Bosses not leaders in top roles---do not want others to succeed, move up or move on as impacts them - Ultimatley no room for growth based on previous bullet - Favoritism---Different rules for different employees - Other duties as assigned means doing several FT jobs, most unrelated to role and for no additional pay - Management creates hostile work environment, pitting employees against one another - Management is so far removed from the real.world and disconnected from employees. - Do not value prior experience within other companies - Low pay for experience brought to the table and the job you will actually be doing. - All about seniority not skills - Same title is extremely different within department and throughout company - If not salaried you will be treated like a child---told hourly employees cannot be trusted - If you are good at what you do they will take advantage of you---take on workload of others at higher pay grade and be reprimanded of their work is not done---ultimately falls on you. - Promised the world to keep you working hard, but do not deliver anything but excuses for not following through - APR is a joke. Do not use 360 feedback and cannot provide feedback re: management, only goes "top down", minimal increase for excellent reviews, no promotion - Fear repercussions if you speak out - Patients first is their motto at any cost to the subordinates.
