Pros
My time with Clear Launch has been extremely rewarding and enjoyable. I am used to working for companies where everything is tightly controlled, from how you do your work to the time you go to lunch. I am greatly pleased by the amount of latitude and freedom I have been afforded at this company. All that is asked in return is that you are committed to writing high quality software.
In addition to being a razor sharp individual, the CEO is also surprisingly open to feedback and ideas. He doesn’t have the overbearing “my way or the highway” mentality of some leaders. He doesn’t care about rank or title. He is logical and objective, and is willing to listen to any feedback that makes sense. He is is also very generous with his time, and has shown that he is willing to personally provide coding help and mentorship to junior developers, review code with the various teams and answer questions about projects, and travel with the sales team to close deals.
The team is solid as well, and some of the senior engineers are extremely smart and knowledgeable.
The work can vary, so you are given many opportunities to work for new clients and to experiment with new technology stacks.
Cons
See advice below. Wouldn't really call those "cons", just my suggestions.
