Great pay for retail Lots of opportunities for advancement Rigorous training program Many long term life skills learned (sales, leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, how to budget your paycheck)
Cons
Because Clarks has a wholesale company, I often feel like I'm competing for sales with my own brand. For instance, DSW, Macy's or Amazon will have almost the same shoe for a better price. More and more people have been shopping online and returning to the store. I predict that if this continues, they will have to change the way we are paid.
