People are supportive if you ask for help. Especially senior employees. They will go out of their way to give special assignments to Help Desk staff to help them learn.
Cons
The IT Help Desk role at Clark Construction has the highest turnover rate in the entire IT department. On a normal day, you sit at your cubicle, answer the phone calls as they come in (number of incoming phone calls per Help Desk employee can range from 20 - 80. Averaging somewhere around 35).
