Pros
The environment, co-workers, office location and general company culture are some pros of working here. There are actually a lot of competent and knowledgeable people on the development and design side.
Cons
Much of the upper management simply don't trust their people. Business decisions are made based on opinions, and likewise, no innovation is going on here. Employees are encouraged to be "open and transparent" and "think outside the box", but it's more of a façade rather than an actual thing that enables us to produce results. From the inside, the company strives to have a more "open" work culture, but it's so nebulous and scattered that job responsibilities are blurred into other areas. When there are no clear boundaries for people to flourish within, all this seems to produce are endless circles of confusion, argument and throwing others under the bus.
