Pros
I've worked with the firm for a little over 8 years. I've had the opportunity to see the firm grow both internally and externally. In the 8 years I've worked at Citrin I've had the pleasure of working with many of our firms resources including the partners, directors, managers, and staff. Citrin Cooperman prides itself on the development of the staff and is encouraging and helpful in career development. I've been a part of this growth and have seen many of my colleagues move from entry level staff people all the way up to managers/directors/partners. The opportunity is absolutely here and there are mentors and other programs in place to help our professionals achieve that. It's a great place to work with a very strong culture that includes being team oriented, an open door policy, a learning environment, and a teaching environment for the higher level professionals. One of the biggest things for me is that the Managing Partners are still a very big part of the everyday and are very transparent with the entire firm.
Cons
Other than the day to day issues that an accounting professional may face at the job, there really isn't much I can say about Cons here at Citrin. The attendance/check in program could use an update-maybe move more toward technology to help.
