Pros
I'm happy to be a shareholder of the company because they know how to make money. Bonuses are also very good (however I think this can also be a con due to the sense of entitlement that it creates, keeping people in roles and in the organization for far too long).
Cons
Culture, leadership, communication, infrastructure. Politics are placed above performance, and there is no safe outlet for employees who wish to voice a concern. All meaningful work seems to be done at the AVP level or below, with many managers at the VP level and above lacking the skills and courage needed to lead, inspire, and innovate to stay competitive.
