Pros

Currently, they are struggling to keep the turnover rate low among their employees. Many full-timers are only lasting a few years with them. However, they are taking steps to make more career opportunities for part-timers and leadership positions. The atmosphere is very positive and uplifting! The community in each clinic setting is supportive and

Cons

Poor employee investment. But they are willing to improve. Also, while employed I experienced some overloaded work and heard about some unethical situations going on, i.e. fraudulent billing with insurances.

Pros

I loved my supervisors and coworkers. Everyone had a similar vision aligned - bettering the lives of the children. Everyone is willing to listen to you, and are always receptive to your feedback. Hard work and patience here paid off! The fruits of your labor came in the form of yearly reviews and your client's progression.

Cons

2/3 of my Supervisors seemed overworked due to turnover rate at the time. I knew they had a high caseload and therefore weren't as responsive to some feedback or concerns regarding specific cases. But, just 1 AMAZING primary care supervisor made everything worth it. Too much downtime in-between clients, but not enough to go home and wait before commuting to the next client. Days were long - started my day around 7:30am just to commute to the first client, and ending the day around 7:00pm. Driving around and waiting for the next client was the most draining part of the job. Lunches were lonely if you didn't have any sessions in-clinic, meaning a lot of time waiting around starbucks by yourself Working with younger clients meant MANY cancellations. This prevented me from being considered full-time. However, you can always go to the clinic to help out with clerical work to make up time.
