Pros

Job will look good on a college application and it is one of the most seriously run fast food chains out there. Free food after a shift but it's not super healthy so you can't fully reap the benefits.

Cons

For how much the pay is and to not get tips, it is a lot of work for not too many benefits outside of food. Practically no free time and breaks are strictly monitored.

Pros

I had the chance to work alongside a team member who consistently set the standard for what Chick-fil-A values look like in practice. They were reliable, showed up on time, and handled fast-paced rushes with a calm and positive attitude. Their customer service skills stood out—they were patient, polite, and genuinely cared about making guests feel welcome. They were also great at helping newer team members learn the ropes without making them feel overwhelmed.

Cons

Like most fast-food environments, the job can be physically demanding and stressful during peak hours, but this isn’t specific to the individual—it’s more a reflection of the industry.
