Bittersweet - Anonymous employee Chefwear Employee Review

I very much love working for this company. It is a very relaxed environment and everyone is very friendly. People are willing to help within a drop of a hat. We all work together to make sure that the customer is happy with the product that is sent to them. It is truly great seeing and being part of a team orientated company! This company also strives for the very best and to make sure the absolute best people are on board. I also love that it is a very family orientated company!

It can be a bit cold in Chicago..

New CEO has made some dramatic but much needed changes. He can not change 20 years of bad in only a few years. He has a great open door policy and is easy to talk to. When you speak with him--you get the feeling he is really listening and things will get done.Love working for Chefwear just don't think people should be in the positions that they are in. Good to see more of the ownrs--hoping they see the changes that need to be made-out with the old and in with the new

Titles were handed out to people with no training and no mgmt or people skills.People are not qualified for their positions or the positions are really not needed.Most employees have love pride and respect for Chefwear. However there are still many employees that love the company and will give 100+ % and still have pride. Just waiting for more changes to be made.
