The speed at which a workplace culture can collapse is terrifying. Just a few days ago, this building had a distinct energy, largely thanks to one specific individual who was recently let go. Since her departure, the organization has entered a total downward spiral. It has been less than a week, and the atmosphere on the 4th floor has shifted from vibrant to grieving. Walking past her empty desk is a visceral experience; I’ve seen multiple people across the organization moved to tears by the sight of it. We didn't just lose a staff member; we lost a natural leader. She had a rare, authentic charisma and a fun-loving attitude that shifted the mood of every room she entered. More importantly, she was one of the few who treated everyone with radical respect, genuinely listening to people’s lives—both professional and personal.
