This a complete honest review based on my work experience in this company.Well guys if you have read other pretentious reviews claiming that this the perfect company to work with, then i am afraid i have to disappoint you all.I hope these words of mine help you to choose wisely before considering this company as an "IDEAL WOKPLACE" or a company to be. I have worked at 21CenturyWeb (Nagpur) for more than a year. Yes the company name is 21st century and not centurysoft. They will provide you id card with Centurysoft name but on paper you will be marked as 21st centuryweb employee. So make sure you verify this thing at the time of joining. COMPANY BACKGROUND: The company is a small scale service based company that has two branches of it. One is in Nagpur, called as the sister branch of CenturySoft (21Centuryweb) & the other is CenturySoft which is situated in Pune. Total Employees- 100 - 150 Infrastructure - Needs serious attention and improvement (nagpur branch) - If your are seeking to start your career in a middle level IT company then this is for you. - Entire development work is followed under SDLC - Gives exposure to Digital Marketting - Well conducted training's - Healthy working environment
Cons
- Stupid rules which may change anytime (like no buffer time given, you have to earn a leave before using it..tbh i can write a book on this). These are just ways to deduct salary. - only 2nd and 4th Saturday off (1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday working) - Hideous politics(do not consider knowledge) - Pay scale is very less as compared to industry standards - Salary credited on 10th of every month (which is very bad and month is considered from 1st to 31st of every month) - Limited projects to work - Need to put leave request for every small reason.Even if you have a work of 10 minutes out of the premises/or have to go for lunch. - For some people 5-10 yr of exp is just a mere number. They are not skilled enough to hold a position as Team Lead/Manager. - Unrealistic targets given - Of course to evaluate a person's throughput, performance is the obvious criteria. But management does not understands genuine reasons rather they are regard them as excuses for non performance. - Management will twist their opinions to save their point indicating employee as the sole culprit. - No work life balance (8:30 working hours mandatory to be covered everyday - Saturday's working - No cultural activities conducted or festivals celebrated - No growth AT ALL - HR has no self voice - The company works on micro management and not on macro management. so it means they will track your each and every moment, how much time spent in office, it is better not to mention their their narrow minded thinking. If you are talking with a person of opposite sex ,then they will observe you with close quarters, and keep a watch on you all day long. They don't want office employees get comfortable with each other.
