Pros
We run lateral to some really exciting industries, so there is some reflected sparkle from that We have a healthy risk appetite, helping us achieve commercial targets Lots of progress made in making the culture less old-school / shouty Company is open to supporting professional qualifications for some roles WFH is very flexible and the London office is nice when I do go in
Cons
Lots, unfortunately. Tension between senior management. They aren't aligned and you see it every day. Senior management just need their heads banging together, work out who is responsible for what and then execute. No clarity on pay reviews, bonus etc. I know people who have been at the company for several years and have had miniscule pay increases. I've been here around a year and nobody has ever sat me down to explain what I should expect. For such a small company, people don't talk to each other enough. If we were in the office every day you would still have back-biting and people working in silos, maybe even worse. It's so strange.
