Pros

The institute is situated between nature. A very good opportunity place for college going student, best place to work as an intern.

Cons

1. Remote area to work 2. Most of the time labs are closed due to humidity and other conditions. 3. Semiconductor process facilities are very old and not well maintained clean room. 4. The management don't know how to treat their staff, either PhD scholars or Project staff. You can not feel relaxed at residence quarters too because of the politics. 5. The climate are really very bad their, in summer minimum temperature is 38 to 40 deg Celsius, in continuation with highly humid conditions upto 90% humidity. Also, they are not allowing project staff to install AC in their quarters (They don't have any reasons for that). 6. People are confused about the rules and regulations, you can not buy project consumables easily, it will take minimum 3 months to process the files.

Pros

Great place to work if your scientist is a nice guy. Totally depends on the team you work for. Five day week. Nice locality.

Cons

Canteen is not that great. I heard some of the scientists make interns work a lot even during the weekends. So know your team well before joining.
