Good educational theory and some good teachers

It was a chaotic working environment, micro managed yet always changing schedules at the last minute. Needed to continually send emails making it hard to spend time working with students. They treated staff like they were disposable. There was an expectation of overtime.

Decent guidance on teaching and managing difficult classrooms. No contact with parents. Small class sizes. Good coworkers.

Inflexibility with teaching styles. Unnecessarily strict administration. Somewhat dated practices. More difficult than average classroom management. Heavy resistance against the union. Little recognition or compensation.
