Pros

Remote work, The training was structured well.

Cons

I was so excited to start working with this company. The training was pretty impressive. Structured well with both modules and hands on learning. This was the stage of learning general system navigation, processes etc. Great trainer. Started working on my team and things were great for quite some time. And then they weren't. The first thing was the additional training given by the team on the day to day processes within our sector was not the best. You would get shown a process and the same day be expected to jump on it. 2nd issue was an insane amount of mandatory OT. It was every day. For a while. I'm all for being a team player but there was absolutely no work life balance. 3rd was constantly moving the goal post when it comes to productivity and metrics. Being told one thing and then the expectation changes and when you ask when this was implemented there is no response. The micromanagement has been atrocious. to the tune of feeling bullied. Harassing emails, teams messages people logging onto to your production log as you are working just watching you. Can't get up for an impromptu bathroom break the system shows any amount of time you may not be typing. I cannot tell you how many UTI's I have gotten since working here simply because I cannot get up to use the bathroom. The list goes on but I some things are too specific to write without it being obvious to my own identity. I really wanted to grow with this company but at some point quality took a back seat to quantity. Everything is just metrics and to be honest the metrics are unrealistic. I don't see the growth potential. I value my mental and bladder health.

Pros

I loved the work and for 6 years was happy with what I did. I knew I made a difference and did my job well. Not many has the same skill set I did and there was always work to do.

Cons

1. It's an old white boys club. I say that as a white individual. It sucks that's how MFN rolls. They say they value diversity but they don't. They will have a token diverse person in an exec role but they're there to be a face, not make any changes or impact. 2. They pay really well but that hurts when you leave. 3. They layoff the good people and keep the undereducated white males. Why? See #1 above. 4. They don't want you if you are female and over 40. Think I'm lying? See the number of females 40+ who got hit in the January "reorganization." 5. HR is a joke. Talent acquisition couldn't find their rear ends with both hands and a map. So many excuses on why they didn't do their jobs. 6. MFN said the HealthNet employees needed to learn the Centene way and the Centene way would prevail. He lied. 7. They never entertained the idea of working from home. At all. Even a 25% WFH option would cut costs and improve morale.
