Pros
I have been an employee of Cengage for 22 years. Cengage is a great company to work for and cares about the difference we make in the lives of all our customers. I have steadily advanced throughout my career with Cengage and the "sky is the limit" if you have the drive, ambition, work ethic, and problem solving skills to make it happen. I am compensated fairly for the work I do related to other positions outside the company with the same job title. In fact, I make quite a bit more. There is opportunity for bonus compensation as well. I have the ability to think outside the box and to collaborate with many others in the company to help design the best learning solutions for our customers. Cengage CARES about the student experience and strives to keep making it better. Cengage also has excellent customer service and this is well known in the education/learning industry. Cengage also has tuition assistance for those seeking a degree or advanced degree in a field related to the position you hold or would like to hold. I was lucky enough to receive a masters degree thanks to Cengage that lead to a promotion for me.
Cons
These days, we can't count on a bonus but I know we will get there again at some point. From my perspective, I do not have many cons.
