Pros

- Compensation - Mostly great people - Product is brilliant and looks gorgeous

Cons

- Perception is everything - Long hours required, even if you get your work done and more in shorter time - 40% turnover year over year - Few bad apples ruin the experience - No work/life balance

Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we always appreciate hearing the positive experiences of those who cross paths with Celtra, we’re sorry that your experience carried some negative remnants as well. Celtra is a fast-paced, high-performance organization and we communicate this to potential candidates as early as the first interview. People don’t need to pretend to work long hours to be recognized; we believe their work output speaks for itself. While our turnover rates are nowhere near the 40% annual mark (but are more in line with the industry average); we understand this environment is not suited for everyone. Those people who are passionate about their work and find inspiration in surrounding themselves with other like-minded, high-performing individuals, find the culture, environment and the opportunity to be a rewarding experience.

Pros

Founder led company who tries to do right by their employees, investors, partners and customers in a competitive ad-tech industry. They had the foresight and passion to lead people to make a revolutionary product at a revolutionary time in the industry. And now they are doing the same again. It can be challenging but they are the same people. Some of these comments about the new product seem critical, and there is some truth to them, but they tend to also ignore the other truths: making a new product is not linear. There's a curve. Sometimes the bend happens earlier, and others later. Right now the new product is buttery smooth and enjoyable to use. And it's getting better! I can feel the bend.

Cons

Founders are real people. They are not Consultants. They are not cookie cutter MBAs. This is not a company where change management happens from disconnected consultants who are paid to be change agents. Instead they invest in us, people with shared motivations and feelings, to be that change. Can it be messy? Yes. Will you need to be the best version of yourself? Yes. Will you become that person? I sure hope so.

Pros

You learn the value of equality and inclusivity.

Cons

The work culture is terribly toxic. A biased attitude is common, and people of color have the worst assignments. The deadlines are unreal, the stress is insane, and if you raise your voice, the arrogant leadership will push you out the door.
